George Guyer

George Guyer

George H. Guyer, founding member of the firm and the firm's Practice Manager, is a fifth generation Oregonian, whose family came to Oregon on the Oregon Trail and settled in Eastern Oregon. Mr. Guyer was raised in Baker City, Oregon where he was active in the community, including the Boy Scouts of America, earning the rank of Eagle Scout.

George's practice areas include business acquisitions, business formation, business transactions, organization and operation of closely held business entities, tax planning, real estate, estate planning, business succession planning, litigation and conflict resolution. George works with small business owners, counseling in business operation, identifying retirement strategies and successfully transferring family businesses to the next generation. This includes advising a wide variety of multi-generational businesses including farmers and ranchers who have worked their land for over a century.

George received his undergraduate degree from Willamette University’s College of Liberal Arts, and his law degree from Willamette University College of Law. He is a member of the Oregon State Bar. He has presented materials in cooperation with the Austin Family Foundation, Oregon State University, the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association, and other organizations and professionals.

Anna graduated from the University of San Diego's paralegal certificate program after working in California's legal industry for 6 years. A native Oregonian, she returned to her Oregon roots after too much sun in San Diego. When not at the office she enjoys working on home renovation projects, sewing and crafting.
